IAPMO R&T, North America’s premier certification agency for the plumbing industry, is excited to announce it is the first certification body in the world to receive accreditation through entidad Mexicana de acreditación, A.C. (ema) to NOM-012-CONAGUA-2021, Mexico’s new mandatory national standard for valves and faucets. IAPMO R&T is now accepting applications for certification.
IAPMO R&T, North America’s premier plumbing, water systems, and mechanical product certification agency, is now licensed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to certify point-of-use reverse osmosis (RO) systems to earn the WaterSense® label.
With the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issuing the first national drinking water standards for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO®) continues to lend its expertise and leadership to helping manufacturers and the industry navigate the changes and ensure a seamless transition.
